Thomas Seghezzi

mem1Thomas Seghezzi has gathered over 25 years of professional experience in private business, NGOs and Government, both abroad and in Switzerland. After graduating in business administration at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), he started his career in Marketing- and Human Resources posts in industry and services companies in Switzerland.

He then engaged during six years in humanitarian work for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), doing missions as coordinator and delegate in Africa, Former Yugoslavia and Northern Caucasus. Between 2000 and 2004, he held the function of Senior Manager Human Resources with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

In 2005, he joined the South African Embassy in Switzerland, heading its Trade and Investment promotion unit during more than 3 ½ years, promoting business between South Africa and the Southern African region and Switzerland.

He joined rainbow unlimited gmbh in November 2008 as Managing Partner. Since 2010 Thomas is also a Managing Director of the Swiss-African Business Circle. He is a Co-Founder of the AFRICA CEO FORUM and from 2012-2019 rainbow unlimited was the Co-Organizer of the event.

Michael Rheinegger

Michael Rheinegger has 13 years of professional experience in trade & investment promotion, international project management, business development and international relations both abroad and in Switzerland. He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Berne and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Corporate Finance from the Swiss Banking Institute of the University of Zurich.

As part of his formation he spent 6 months as an Intern/Trainee at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) as well as a few months both at the World Bank Country Office in Guatemala as well as at the Swiss Embassy in Chile.

In 2005 Michael joined the Trade and Investment Section of the South African Embassy in Switzerland as a Project Manager.

In May 2008 he founded rainbow unlimited gmbh as Managing Partner. Since 2010 Michael is also a Managing Director of the Swiss-African Business Circle. Between 2011 and 2012 he was a board member of an agribusiness company in Mozambique on behalf of the Swiss majority investor. He is a Co-Founder of the AFRICA CEO FORUM and from 2012-2019 rainbow unlimited was the Co-Organizer of the event.

Nadja Batista

Project Lead

Nadja Batista joined rainbow unlimited gmbh in September 2016 as a Project assistant for the Africa CEO Forum. From May 2017 to July 2019 she worked as Project Manager for rainbow unlimited and Africa Business Day and as Project Lead from August 2019. Nadja was born in Brazil and grew up in Switzerland and has both nationalities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and a Master of Arts degree in Socioeconomics both from the University of Geneva (UNIGE).

Prior to joining rainbow unlimited, she worked as a sales manager and business development consultant at M&O Partners in Brazil for 5 years, developing strong competencies in relationship management, sales and marketing as well as project and partnership development. She speaks French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and has a good knowledge of German.

Helina Bischoff

Project Lead
Deputy MD Swiss-African Business Circle

Helina Bischoff joined rainbow unlimited gmbh in August 2014 as Project & Event Manager for the Swiss-African Business Circle and Africa CEO Forum. As from July 2018 she is the Deputy Managing Director of the Swiss-African Business Circle and a Project Lead at rainbow unlimited.

Having grown up in South Africa and with roots in Switzerland and Ethiopia, Helina completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, International Relations and French at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa. She completed a Master of Arts degree in African Studies at the University of Basel.

Prior to joining rainbow unlimited, she worked in Communications and Public & Government affairs at the Novartis Malaria Initiative and Africa Cluster. During this time, she supported in developing a communications strategy for the management team in Africa, built relationships with internal & external stakeholders, organized incoming and outgoing delegations and developed online and print communications.
